Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Lintels

Lintel is a structural horizontal block that spans the space or opening between two vertical supports that can carry the load and distribute it to other building elements. It is often found over doors, windows or openings.  According to national seismic code article 3-7, fourth edition, lintels over openings should be continuous and equal to cumulative length of openings plus the gap between them and additional 20 Cm for each side of openings. Common lintels used in buildings are steel, reinforced concrete, wooden or clays blocks. Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages. Ease and speed of installation are few of advantages that make them viable.

Parin Autoclave Aerated Concrete Lintel

One of other Parin Products is Autoclave Aerated Concrete Lintels. Parin Lintels are from Autoclave Aerated Concrete reinforced with steel. Width of the Lintel is the same as wall thickness and according to client’s requirements. Length of lintel is varied relative to opening span and minimum height of 15 Cm. Few of Parin Lintel advantages are elimination of additional reinforcement because of homogeneity of products, additional thermal layer around lintel and ease of installation.

Parin Reinforced Lintels are part of Autocalve Aerated Concrete system that is extensively used with Autoclave Aerated Concrete blocks for openings, windows and doors. It drastically increases installation speed and reducing cost over traditional installation.

Parin Lintels have the same properties as Parin blocks only reinforced, therefore, problem of using heterogeneous products by using steel lintels are resolved and eliminates thermal bridging.

Drawings above are just for information.

Parin Reinforced Lintels are produced according to client’s requirements depending on size of opening, maximum 3 m and wall thickness.

Parin non-bearing wall lintels

Parin reinforced lintel can be used for any non-load bearing wall. These lintels are produced with maximum span of 2500 mm. Lintels supports on both side should be minimum 200 mm or 1/10 of opening span.
